Paw CardPrivacy Policy
This policy explains what information Paul Steinberg LLC (“we”, “us”) collects when you play Paw Card (the “Game”), how we use it, and the choices you have.
Section 01
Age Requirement
The Game is intended for players aged 13 and older. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.
Section 02
Information We Collect
Paw Card collects the following types of information to deliver core gameplay functionality.
Account Identifiers
Signing in with Google is required to play — the Game has no guest or anonymous mode. When you sign in, we receive your Google account's email address and a unique account ID, and your profile and progress are stored under that account from the first time you sign in. Authentication is handled entirely by Google (via Firebase); Paw Card never sees, receives or stores your Google password.
Profile & Gameplay Data
Your chosen username and avatar, level and XP, virtual-currency balances (Coins, Gems, Dust), owned cosmetic items, mission progress, and match history (results of public online matches, including opponents' display names).
Purchase Records
If you buy virtual currency, the purchase is processed by the app store (Google Play or Apple) and our payment partner. We receive a record of what was purchased and credit your account. We never receive your payment card details.
Technical Data
Our servers (Cloudflare) and database (Google Firebase) keep standard operational logs, such as IP addresses and timestamps, used only to run and secure the service.
Advertising Identifiers
The Game shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve them, AdMob receives your device's advertising identifier and general device information. This identifier is not linked to your Paw Card account, your nickname, or your purchase history.
Approximate Location
AdMob also receives your device's IP address, from which an approximate location — typically your city or region — can be derived. The Game never asks for location permission and never reads your device's location. We do not receive or store this location ourselves.
Crash Reports
If the Game fails, our error-monitoring provider (Sentry) receives the error, a stack trace, and basic device information so we can fix it. Crash reports are not linked to your account.
Section 03
How We Use It
To run the Game: saving your progress across devices, matching you with other players, showing your name and avatar to opponents in a match, granting purchases, preventing cheating, and responding to support requests. We also show ads to support the Game. We do not sell your personal information.
Advertising
Your device's advertising identifier, IP address (from which an approximate location can be derived), ad interactions and basic device diagnostics are shared with Google AdMob so it can select and measure the ads you see, which may include personalised ads. We do not share your nickname, email address, purchase history or gameplay progress with any advertiser.
Your Choice About Ads
In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, the Game asks for your consent before ads load, and you can change that choice at any time from the privacy options in Settings. Everywhere else, you can reset or delete your advertising identifier in your device settings — on Android, under Settings → Google → Ads.
Section 04
Who Processes Your Data
Paw Card integrates the following third-party services. Each provider operates under its own privacy policy and receives only the data necessary for its function.
Google Firebase
Authentication and database. Governed by the Firebase privacy policy (firebase.google.com/support/privacy).
Cloudflare
Game servers and hosting. Governed by the Cloudflare privacy policy (cloudflare.com/privacypolicy).
RevenueCat
Purchase processing on mobile versions. Governed by the RevenueCat privacy policy (revenuecat.com/privacy).
Google AdMob
Serves the ads in the Game and receives your device's advertising identifier to select and measure them. Governed by the Google privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy) and Google's advertising terms.
Sentry
Error monitoring. Receives crash reports and the device information attached to them, never your account details. Governed by the Sentry privacy policy (sentry.io/privacy).
Section 05
Deleting Your Data
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete Account inside the Game. You can also email [email protected] to request deletion. Deletion is immediate and irreversible; purchase records may be retained where required for accounting or legal compliance.
Section 06
Your Rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].
Section 07
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date and, for material changes, notify you in the Game.
